Tracklist
Information
Fresque Sonore (1956-57) was from the very beginning conceived as a composition for loudspeakers. The starting point is a soprano part. The various instruments were recorded separatly and each musician played several parts, each recorded individually. The synchronisation was made at the control table where certain sounds were filtered and ringmodulated.
Transfiguration (1962-63) concludes a cycle of compositions containing both instrumental and electronical works (Rota, Transit, Transfiguration). The whole cycle can be defined as a family where the different members are individuals and at the same time closely related to the pattern - genealogy - of the family.
