Dieses Hörspiel erschien leicht gekürzt, mit neuer Musik und zusätzlichen Geräuschen abgemischt nochmals in der EUROPA-Gruselserie als Folge 4 (LP 115 677.2, MC 515 677.7) unter dem Titel "Das Schloß des Grauens". Die einschneidendste Änderung war hierbei sicherlich die Kürzung des Schlusses, der Ullas unheilvolles Resümee "Ich sage dir, der Mann lügt wie gedruckt" zum Opfer fiel.

Bei der Neuauflage der Gruselserie wurde Ullas Schlußsatz wieder in das Hörspiel eingefügt.
