Title translates as "Give for New Wave".

Released by Ariola Benelux (who held licenses for labels like Virgin, Chiswick, Chrysalis & Beserkley) as a sort of charity record for New Wave artists.

Inner sleeve contains an appeal (in Dutch)for people to buy the LP so that royalties will benefit the new wave artists.

The inner sleeve also contains details of a competition to "create something that you think of as very new wave, and win a trip to London."
