Celebrates forty years of chart success for Cliff Richard in The Netherlands, despite this collection only spanning a 29 year period, from 1959 to 1987. However, Richard's 1959 hit 'Living Doll' was released on CD single to promote this compilation, becoming a very minor hit in April 1998.

B-sides to [m618656] included two different live recordings of 'Living Doll' (one on each variant), plus the 1986 Comic Relief charity remake with [a272225] and [a170356] guitarist [a82605] on the maxi-single CD. The appearance of the 1986 version of 'Living Doll' in this collection marks its first appearance on a Cliff Richard album.
